We saw the award winning aquarium and the Haverthwaite Steam Railway.  The Aquarium had the collection of most fantastic freshwater fish and diving ducks were a sight to see. It was indeed a wonderful time that I and my wife enjoyed to the hilt. It had the perfect balance of peace and activity. I strongly suggest to take a lake cruise at least once with your beloved. You will collect a memory of a life time.
